HRH The Princess Royal visited Worcester on Friday 16 July 2010 to officially open the specialist new play area at Regency High School. The visit had been organized by Wooden Spoon in Worcestershire, British and Irish rugby's charity for underprivileged children, who have funded the play area with a £20,000 donation.

Worcester Warriors skipper Pat Sanderson officially opened the Sixways-based Playing for Success (PfS) Study Centre at the end of March. The PfS Study Centre is one of the Warriors' Community Development team's contribution to the county and will go live at the beginning of the Summer Term.
