Wooden Spoon in Wales would like to acknowledge the significant support of it's First XV members and supporters who have contributed their services or nominated spoon in their fundraising activities. Thank you for your continued support:
This financial year we have funded three projects, totalling £33,000:-
(i) The final installment for Pippins Design.
(ii) An autistic unit at Ynyswen Primary School, Rhondda - £13,000.
(iii) Another autistic unit at Maesmarchog Primary School, Neath Valley -£20,000.
Currently we are considering half a dozen applications for submission to the Trustees at their December meeting.
Since the transformation of the "new" Spoon Welsh Committee in 1999, we have put together a group of hard working, dedicated people, who, throughout the past six years, have helped raise the sum of £134,000 to support various schemes throughout Wales.
