| Wooden Spoon was the benefiting charity of the Air New Zealand World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival in Edinburgh in September and many areas of the charity joined in the fun and lent their support to ensure the Tournament was a huge success. |

The Scottish National Committee meets regularly in Edinburgh throughout the year under the Chairmanship of Charlie Bryden. Three further Local Committees provide active support in Aberdeen, Glasgow and

| PROJECT SUPPORT IN SCOTLAND NOW TOPS £1.5 MILLION!
CURRENT PROJECTS (£140,000 currently under pledge)
The Scottish Spina Bifida Association - funding of a customised and inclusive play experience for all at the Association's new Family Support Centre and National Headquarters in Cumbernauld - £40k
Timber Kinder Garden Nursery, Aberdeen - contribution towards expansion of log cabin style children's nursery, catering for young children in the Seaton district, as part of The Aberdeen Community Regeneration Strategy - £30k.
Hydrotherapy Pool Project at Lochaber, Fort William - extension to existing leisure centre/swimming pool to provide hydrotherapy pool facilities for use by disabled children and young people in the north-west of Scotland, in the shadow of Ben Nevis - start point for Spoon's Four Peaks Challenge each year - £70k.
