On September 4th, this Spoon region saw the opening of two projects to which it donated a total of almost £60,000.

Seeing is Believing with TNT in Hertfordshire John Nicholl, regional Chairman, with employees of TNT, who, together with fellow employees countrywide, contributed nearly £300,000 last year, towards our central funds. They are pictured here, here at the Meadow School at Bushey, where the Wooden Spoon had funded a hydrotherapy pool. The Wooden Spoon conduct tours to their completed projects to show contributors to the Charity how well the funds have been used to benefit disadvantaged children, which is a great chance to learn how Spoon funds are spent as well as a great galvaniser towards raising greater funds!
