	The London Committee of Wooden Spoon is changing and we need your help to ensure the future of the Region.

Events in your Region

The Committee
The last few months in the London region have seen the committee change in different ways. On the grounds of geography, we had to release two real Spoon stalwarts in Jon and Katherine Negus. They are furthering their careers down under and were be sorely missed when they left in July 2006. They are responsible for the success and growth of the Surgeons games and it is hoped that their enthusiasm and commitment to Spoon will continue while they are in Sydney and have even talked of setting up the first 'Overseas Spoon Committee'.

Honorary President - Kyran Bracken

Kyran Bracken became the Joint Honorary President with Jeff Probyn just after the success of the England team in 2003 and made an immediate impact with the Committee with his enthusiasm to assist. During the 2004/2005 season Kyran enjoyed a Testimonial year and Wooden Spoon was his benefiting charity. Spoon was privileged to receive a donation of £90,000 from his year-long fundraising events. Kyran announced his retirement from Premiership Rugby earlier this year and Spoon London would like to wish him every success in his new ventures and look forward to his continued support.
