The land for the project was kindly gifted byto the project by Yorkshire Water. The site specifically aims to engage excluded children and young offenders in projects that will improve their social interaction. The greenhouses form part of the wider environmental projects taking place on site. The project was opened by John Kear, Coach of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and team captain Jason Demetriou (seen at left).
Spoon attendees were David Knaggs, chairman of Yorkshire region , Richard Smith,trustee, Edward Jennings, Bruce Allison, Jeremy Horsell and Michael Coglan. The founder and director of Able Partnership, Graham Wiles, was also in attendance and is on the photographs together with some of the young people who will benefit.
