Middlesex Spoon Puts Pupils in a Spin
Another successful opening of a Spoon project brought joy to the children of Hay Lane school in Kingsbury, north west London.

No ALT tag specifiedIn April, Saracens and England star Dan Scarbrough, opened an exciting new addition to the school’s refurbished playground – a multi-coloured wheelchair roundabout that enables less mobile children to enjoy playtime to the full.

Hay Lane School caters for about 120 pupils aged from three to 19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties including autism.

Dan said: “It is so rewarding to see the difference Spoon’s fund-raising has made to the children at Hay Lane. The smiles on their faces say it all.” Middlesex Spoon chairman Gordon Brown added: “We’re delighted to be able to help and would like to thank all the Spoon supporters whose generosity makes projects like this come to life.”
