After 12 years, the last Ford Ranger Great Lakeland Challenge, England’s toughest tri-sport charity event, will take place on Friday, 16th May 2008. Teams of three plus a driver still have time to sign up for the event in which they will canoe the length of Lake Windermere, England’s longest lake; cycle Wrynose and Hard Knott, the steepest passes and conquer Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England.
Each team receives full training and fundraising support, a Ford vehicle for the duration of the challenge and must commit to raise a minimum of £3,900, with funds to be submitted to the Treasurer by September 2008.
